Basel, located in Switzerland at the heart of Europe, is a congress city with conveniently situated facilities. The Congress Center Basel enjoys a downtown location, situated directly adjacent to Basel Exhibition Centre. Travel times are short, and the historic old town, the shopping areas and the many museums and parks can be reached comfortably on foot or in a few minutes by public transport. The Congress Center Basel and its facilities are located directly alongside Messe Exhibition.

Collect your badge the day before the summit to beat the queues.

Pre-registration is open from 16.00 – 18.00

Wednesday 7th September
Registration opens at 07.30

Thursday 8th September
Registration opens at 08.00

Be sure to arrive early at the venue as all attendees must be registered and through security (including bag checks) by 8:30am. The open session starts promptly at 9am, you don’t want to miss it!

NOTE: Capacity in the Centre Stage hall will be limited throughout the event and places will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. Come early:)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Take tram no. 1 or 2  from the Swiss or French (SBB/SNCF) railway station; you will reach Basel Exhibition in 10 minutes. From the German Railway (DB) station (Badischer Bahnhof) you will be at “Messeplatz / Exhibition Square” in 5 minutes by tram no. 2 or 6.

BASEL-MULHOUSE-FREIBURG AIRPORT

It is 15 minutes’ drive from Congress Center Basel. Further, there is an easy connection from EuroAirport to the exhibition center in downtown Basel by public transport (Bus Nr. 50), via the central Swiss railway station (Bahnhof SBB). From Bahnhof SBB the tram line no. 2 serves Basel Exhibition square directly.

BASEL RAILWAY STATION

All three of Basel’s railway stations – SBB (Switzerland), SNCF (France) and DB (Badischer Bahnhof, Germany) – are within 5 to 10 minutes of the Basel Exhibition Centre.
